Delete your account
You can delete your account at any time — either from inside the app or by writing to me.
1. Delete from the app
This is the fastest route. Open the app and follow these steps:
- Open the Profil (Profile) tab in the bottom bar
- Tap ⚙️ Ayarlar (Settings) at the top right
- Choose 🗑️ Hesabı Sil (Delete account) at the bottom
- Type SİL in the confirmation box
- Tap Hesabımı Kalıcı Olarak Sil (Delete my account permanently)
Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone. There is no waiting period and no "deactivate" step. When it is done the app returns to the sign-in screen and the local copies on your phone are cleared too.
2. Ask me to delete it
If you have already removed the app or cannot sign in, email me from the address registered to your account:
Use the subject line “Account deletion request”. You must write from the address registered to the account so I can verify the request is yours. I complete requests within 30 days and write back to confirm.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your email address and display name
- Your in-app progress, saved items and notes
- If you signed in with Apple or Google, my record of the user identifier they gave me
Deletion is permanent. I cannot restore your progress afterwards.
What remains, and why
- Error logs: The technical record kept when something breaks (where it failed, the error message, app version, platform). Deleting your account breaks the link to you and the log becomes anonymous; it is removed entirely within 60 days.
- Other people’s content: Likes and follows you left disappear from their counters, but their own posts of course stay put.
I do not collect usage analytics, so there is no measurement record left behind either.
