Why this page exists
Some of what you write in ÇAMUR shows up on other people’s screens: the titles of your work, your username, your bio, and your Instagram handle if you added one. Anything visible needs rules.
The short version: this is a place for learning ceramics. Everything else is fine as long as it serves that.
Not allowed
- Insults, harassment, threats. Personal attacks, humiliation, persistent unwanted contact.
- Hate speech. Targeting people over race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability or any similar characteristic.
- Sexual content. Explicit content and obscene usernames.
- Violence. Content that praises, encourages or threatens violence.
- Illegal content. Anything criminal, or that encourages a crime.
- Impersonation. Passing off someone else’s name, identity or work as your own.
- Spam and advertising. Bulk messages, unrelated links, commercial promotion.
- Other people’s information. Sharing anyone’s personal details without their permission.
Posting your own work
The work you post has to be yours. Don’t post someone else’s photo or piece as your own. Taking inspiration is fine — just say where it came from.
If you see something
You have two tools, both inside the app:
- Report. Use the report option next to the content or profile. It reaches me and I look at it.
- Block. When you block someone, neither of you sees the other’s work, and neither can follow or like the other. It is not one-directional — so the person you blocked cannot keep bothering you.
Blocked people are not notified that they were blocked. That is deliberate: someone who finds out usually just opens a new account.
What happens when rules are broken
It depends:
- Content may be removed
- A username or bio may be reset
- An account may be temporarily restricted
- For serious or repeated breaches, an account may be closed
The app also runs an automatic content filter: some content is caught before it is ever published.

If your content was removed or your account restricted and you believe that was a mistake, write to camur@baransahin.com. I am one person and I can get things wrong; if I have, I’ll fix it.
Age
The app is not designed for anyone under 13. If I find an account belonging to someone younger, I close it.
